Without a birth time
Your Ascendant, Midheaven and all twelve house cusps come from the earth's rotation at one specific minute. Without that minute they cannot be calculated, so they are not shown — rather than filled in from a guess.
The wheel above does not depend on the time: every planet sits in its sign and at its degree — only the ring of houses is missing.
One caveat worth knowing: the Moon moves up to about 13° in a day, so if it sat near the edge of a sign on your birthday, the sign shown here may be the wrong one.
Questions people ask
Why Koch houses?
Koch divides the sky using your exact time and latitude, so the cusps reflect where and when you were born rather than an equal division. It is what this calculator uses throughout.
What if I don't know my birth time?
You still get the wheel and every planet in it. What you do not get is the Ascendant, the Midheaven and the houses — those come from the exact minute of birth, and showing nothing beats inventing one.
Tropical or sidereal?
Tropical, aligned to the seasons — 0° Aries is the spring equinox. It is the standard in Western astrology and what these degrees are measured against.
How accurate is this?
Positions come from the Swiss Ephemeris, the same data professional astrologers use. Checked against a reference chart, every body agrees to within one second of arc.
